Sorry it has been ages since I've blogged. I've been "bogged" with school work thru the summer and trying to get Gary's paperwork and taxes done.
Gary was gone for about 2 1/2 mos and decided to stay home a few weeks and help transport Logan to school and back, build Logan's fabulous playset. (ok, I have to admit the spiral tube slide is a BLAST!!) Help mow, we replaced our frig and got a standup freezer instead of the chest freezer. Got the brakes done on the van and the muffler and tailpipe done on the car. The truck had a few maintenance items as well as the trailer needed an inspection w/the tractor.
We had a horrible heat wave and I am happy the hurricane's rain has come to relieve us and take us from 90 to 61!! YES! It is great. I'm wearing my hoodies to school and very comfy.
I just took a Psychiatric exam today after studying since 8am this morn w/my study group. It seemed very very easy which scared me. It shouldn't be so easy. But we did study 5 hrs. So something sunk in...I hope!
Monday I have to hit Rockford at 7:30 am to visit Janet Wattles Mental Health Center as well as Rosecrance and back to Freeport at 1:30pm to go to the Sojurn house. I'm suppose to be done by 5pm...long day. This Saturday I have a Med/Surg exam on fluids. (diseases and burns).
I have about 3 more online quizzes to take for med/surg. And about 10 more online lectures to listen to.....zzzzzz....seriously...zzzzz.
Logan loves first grade. No bullies in his class this year. His SACC after school program has only 4 boys in it and the lady spoils them rotten. Logan loves Ms. Otter his teacher who is really nice to him.
Anne told me Ethan has 6 teeth. He says Nana, dada, mama...and I believe papa. I call him my "bouncy boy"...He loves to bounce up and down. He laughs...!!
I was in the ER last week for clinicals and LOVED IT >>>LOVED IT>>>> . I loved theMed/Surg floor too and my classmates think I'm crazy..said it's too much work...the busier the better is how I like it. Next week for clinicals I will have two telemetry patients. I get to go over their charts and read their labwork.
Logan is grown' like a weed. He is educating me on Pokeman and Bakugon (spelled wrong?).
I just ordered Logan a costume from www.costumeexpress.com ...cute costumes...even for babies.
We have the big family Christmas this year so thank goodness it will be after my finals. And Gary will be home to help me. I'm gonna need it.
