That's the sound of my teeth chattering. It was -10 ACTUAL TEMPERATURE today. Of course, Logan had no school because of the -32 F. Windchill. And of course, I had to go to the hospital wearing my very very thin scrubs! Felt like we had nothing on with that wind howling! Then the sliding doors to the hospital didn't work and were cracked open so if you were too fat to get in between them...tough luck, yes, I did fit! (in case you were wondering.)
I get to go to Cardio Feb 7 for clinicals and be an RN's shadow for the day. Then off to GI lab in March. Other than that the rest of the time will be on the Med/Surg floor. At the hospital I was born at! (Or at least what is left of the old hospital as it was added on to about 20 fold).
Went to pick Logan up at the Y and he was eating his lunch. He said he didn't get to go swimming yet and come back at 2! Ok, that gives me quiet time to study anyway!
Gosh, I can't wait for about 4 more days when it is suppose to be in the +30's.....!!!
Gary is on his way to Tacoma, Wa and then try and make his way thru the mountain passes back to Milwaukee, Wi... but he'll be running out of hours, possibly before he gets thru all the passes.
