We have received 19.6" of the wet ...R word and if this would have been snow it would have been 19.6 ' . 1 in of R = 1 ft of snow. Don't know if that is any indication of what we have to look forward to this winter or not. Just mowed the yard again today. Between the r showers . Looks like we may be lucky as the front holding it over the top of it has finally shifted.
Logan starts kindergarten Monday and really liked his teacher and his classroom. I almost thought I was going to have to drag him out of there.
Pharmacology and Fundamentals of Nursing exams next week on 4 chapters each. Gerontology it took her 1 hr to hand out 11 handouts and go through them...then she wanted us to stay a half an hour past the class time....that didn't happen.
Gary is on his way home from Bolingbrook, Il (Chicago suburb) and will be bobtailing. He'll head back there on Sunday night. Gary and Logan have been building Lego projects when he comes home so Logan feels like he has some quality time with his dad.
Icee will be moving to a new home with a young man named Tom who has a Masters' Degree in Criminal Justice and has a job with the state of Wisconsin in 4 mos when he's done with his training. He is building a home and has about 40 acres of land. His dog passed away 2 wks ago and he was happy to see that I had a husky available. I want Icee to be with someone who will have time for him. I won't have much time when we start doing clinicals and next year is even worse. More fast paced. This year is already challenging and it's only been one week.
