June2007. The Grand Canyon is a nice place to visit once,but people don't realize how seriously dangerous it is. You can slip/fall off of the trails. There are monsoon type floods in the valleys, you can easily dehydrate on the downhill trails not realizing that those same trails you have to climb back up later when you are dead tired. A lot of people have died here.
