Logan in front of monument representing the Pony Express and the many thousands of emmigrants who passed thru the fort on their way to the Oregon Trail and the trail leading to California.
The barracks is the building below. The children who lived with their families at the fort dressed like soldiers and the girls were dressed like their mothers.
It was pouring rain and we were actually watching the skies for a tornado. They had two buildings that had about 4'thick walls that were used as tornado shelters.
